The Long Summer

This is not a holiday.
It is a recalibration.

Reconnect with nature, and with each other. Disconnect from everything else. No queues, no buffet, no schedule. Just you, a coastline longer than most countries, and a camper that carries everything you need to stay out here as long as you like. Wellness was never meant to be an appointment. Out here, it is simply what happens.

Wanderer Luxe parked alone on a white sand beach
Fewer people. More space. More freedom.

A beach to yourself is not a luxury here. It is the default.

Esperance. Bremer Bay. Denmark. The whitest sand in Australia and some of the clearest water on earth, with almost nobody on it.

Park above your own bay. Watch kangaroos graze the sand at dawn. Count the footprints on the beach: yours, and theirs.

Camp set up beside the camper under a fading dusk sky
Deep rest

Darkness you can sleep in. Silence you can hear.

No corridor noise. No air conditioning hum. The south coast at night is one of the darkest places on the planet: the Milky Way overhead, the ocean keeping time below.

You will sleep like you haven't in years, and wake with the light instead of an alarm.

Slow breakfast under the camper awning on a white beach
Natural rhythms

Wake with the sun. Swim when it's hot. Eat when you're hungry.

Days out here organise themselves. Coffee made slowly while the bay wakes up. A long walk before the heat. A book in the shade of the awning.

Quiet pursuits: walking, listening, noticing. The things stress spent years talking you out of.

The journey is the experience

Every track that carries you further from the crowd makes the bay at the end of it more yours.

The Wanderer Luxe

Barefoot luxury, parked where hotels will never be.

People assume travelling like this means roughing it. Not in a RedSands. The roof rises at the push of a button, the bed is the most comfortable we know how to build, and the coffee is real. Underneath it all, a serious 4WD.

The best sleep on wheelsWe designed the most comfortable bed we could, then built the camper around it. Permanently made up, always ready.
Camp at the push of a buttonThe roof rises electrically. Camp is made before the kettle has boiled.
Espresso, deep in natureFull kitchen, big fridge, a proper coffee machine. The good wine stays cold.

The South West Edge · 21 days · Perth return

Down through the tall forests. Home along the golden edge.

About 2,400 gentle kilometres over three weeks, with rest days built in. Day one is a short forest hop from the depot, and most days are only a few easy hours between camps.

Good questions

Isn't Australia scorching in January?

The north is. The south coast isn't. Esperance and Albany summers sit in the mid-20s with sea breezes, which is exactly why we send you south. It is the best-kept season in the country.

I've never driven a 4WD.

Most of our guests haven't. The route is almost entirely sealed or easy gravel, and your pick-up includes a full personal show-through plus a beach-driving briefing for the fun parts. Our team is on call the whole way.

Can we stay out longer than 21 days?

Please do. Extra days simply extend the package at the same per-day value for any hire completed by 31 March, and the itinerary stretches beautifully to four or five weeks with more time on the beaches.

What do we need to bring?

Clothes and a sense of time abundance. Bedding, linen, kitchen and camp gear are all on board when you collect the camper.
